MM Dental Sedation Study Club

Oral Moderate Certification Course

$2,500.00 Oct 23, 2026 – Oct 25, 2026

Why Choose Our 3-Day Oral Moderate Sedation Program?

At MM Dental Sedation Study Club, we believe sedation training should go beyond simply meeting the minimum regulatory requirements.

While current RCDSO standards are competency-based and some programs may choose to compress training into shorter formats, we intentionally designed our Oral Moderate Sedation program as a comprehensive 3-day experience to provide dentists with deeper understanding, greater confidence, and stronger clinical preparedness.

Comprehensive Sedation Training

Sedation dentistry involves far more than pharmacology alone. Safe and effective patient care requires competency in:

  • Patient assessment and case selection
  • Airway evaluation and management
  • Pharmacology and drug interactions
  • Physiologic monitoring
  • Recognition of sedation-related complications
  • Emergency preparedness and rescue
  • Recovery and discharge protocols
  • Medico-legal documentation and standards of care

These topics cannot be meaningfully mastered through lecture alone or rushed through in a condensed format.

What Our 3-Day Structure Provides

Our 3-day structure allows participants adequate time for:

  • Detailed didactic instruction
  • Hands-on exercises
  • Airway and emergency simulations
  • Clinical discussion and decision-making
  • Interactive case-based learning
  • Reinforcement of monitoring and rescue concepts

We strongly believe that repetition, discussion, and practical application are essential components of safe sedation education.

Our Commitment to Clinical Preparedness

The goal of MM Dental Sedation Study Club is not simply to “check a box” for authorization, but to help dentists develop the judgment, confidence, and competence required to safely provide sedation in real-world clinical practice.
